Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of www.marikenyo.com (the “Site”) and the Marikenyo waitlist, operated by Marikenyo (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
The Site introduces Marikenyo, a food discovery app that is still in development and not yet available. The Site lets you learn about the app and join a waitlist. Separate terms will apply to the app when it launches.
2. The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free and does not create any purchase, subscription, or partnership agreement.
- A spot on the waitlist does not guarantee access to the app, a specific launch date, or any feature, price, or offer.
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide an email address you own and are authorized to use.
- You can leave the waitlist anytime by emailing privacy@marikenyo.com.
3. Previews, examples, and forward-looking information
Interactive demos on the Site, including the budget matcher and the “Suki” AI chat, are illustrative previews. The dishes, restaurants, prices, match scores, and recommendations shown are sample content for demonstration only. They are not offers, endorsements, or real-time information, and actual app features may differ.
Statements about our plans, traction, expansion, business model, and future features are forward-looking. They reflect our current intentions and may change. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy securities or any investment, and it should not be relied on as financial, investment, or legal advice. Any investment discussions happen only through separate, formal documentation.
4. Restaurant and partner information
Descriptions of restaurant tools, placements, subscriptions, and pricing are general information about planned offerings. Any partnership is subject to a separate written agreement.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false information or someone else's email address;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Site or submit forms;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its servers;
- use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The Marikenyo name, logo, “Suki”, and all content, design, text, and graphics on the Site belong to Marikenyo or its licensors and are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or use them without our written permission, except to share links to the Site.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Philippine law, Marikenyo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines).
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be brought before the proper courts of Marikina City, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under consumer protection law.
